Sheryl Dopps joined the HSR team in April of 2024 as the Controller, leading the Accounting and Finance functions.  With over 20 years of progressive experience in accounting across both public and private sectors, Sheryl is a dynamic and results-driven accountant and leader. Prior to HSR, Sheryl served as the Assistant Controller at Malarkey Roofing, where she managed the accounting team as well as shared services, inventory accounting, and sales pricing, driving significant improvements in month-end close efficiency and internal controls. With a strong background in financial reporting, treasury functions, ERP systems, and internal audits, Sheryl has led initiatives that have saved millions and improved operational performance. Sheryl excels at collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that optimize performance and maintain robust financial controls. Having worked in various industries, Sheryl thrives in fast-paced environments and is driven by challenges and opportunities for continuous development and improvement.  She received a BA in accounting from Washington State University in Pullman Washington.
